Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager at Waffy, you will lead business growth initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and oversee the business development team. You will drive revenue expansion, identify new opportunities, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives. Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Growth & Market Expansion:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and client segments.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine business strategies.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Set clear performance metrics and KPIs to drive productivity and accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Client & Partner Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee negotiations and deal closures, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for high-value partners and strategic alliances.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:

  • Work closely with operations, product, and finance teams to enhance business processes.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Optimize workflows to streamline business development activities.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align business strategies.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to influence product development and innovation.
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, operations, and finance teams.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Saudi National, based in Riyadh.
    Proven track record of leading business development teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in fintech, technology, or financial services is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, business analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • IT or technical experience is a plus.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
