After the buyer receives the product, the inspection period set by the seller when creating the transaction begins. The start of the inspection period depends on the delivery method.

Inspection Period

  • Minimum: 2 days
  • Maximum: 100 days
  • The seller sets the inspection period when creating the transaction under Advanced Settings.

When Does the Inspection Period Start?

Hand-to-Hand Delivery

  • The seller asks the buyer to confirm receipt through Waffy.
  • The inspection period starts as soon as the buyer confirms receipt.

Shipping Outside Waffy

  • Waffy tracks the shipping waybill to confirm when the buyer receives the shipment.
  • The inspection period starts once Waffy confirms that the buyer has received the shipment.

Shipping with Waffy

  • The transaction automatically moves to the inspection stage once the shipment is confirmed through Waffy.
  • No manual confirmation is required from the buyer or seller.

Once the inspection period ends without an objection from the buyer, the transaction automatically moves to the approval stage, and the funds are released to the seller.
