When does the product inspection period start?

In-person delivery

  • The seller asks the buyer to confirm receipt on the platform.
  • The inspection period starts as soon as the buyer confirms receipt.

Waffy shipping

  • The transaction automatically moves to the inspection stage once the shipment is confirmed through Waffy.
  • No manual confirmation is required from the buyer or seller.

External shipping

  • The seller sends the shipping waybill and invoice to Waffy Customer Support and asks the buyer to confirm receipt through Waffy.
  • The inspection period starts from the date and time of shipment recorded by the shipping company.

If the inspection period ends without the buyer raising an objection, the transaction automatically moves to the approval stage, and the funds are released to the seller.
