Waffy charges a service fee on each transaction. The fee calculation varies depending on the payment method.
Standard fee
- The service fee is 4% of the transaction value.
- The fee is deducted from the seller if the funds are transferred to them.
- The fee is deducted from the buyer if the funds are refunded to them.
Installment fees
- When an installment payment option is used, the total service fee is calculated based on the selected installment provider (Tamara, Tabby, or New).
- The fee amount is shown as soon as you select the installment option.
Who pays the fee?
- Waffy’s fees may vary depending on the circumstances and any agreement between Waffy and the parties involved in the transaction, such as the buyer and seller. For example, the buyer and seller may agree that one party covers the full fee or that they split it between them at an agreed percentage.
